Thomas Wiesmann studied economics at the University of Münster.
He began his professional career as part of a junior leadership program at one of Germany’s largest private waste and disposal providers. His responsibilities were general management and maintenance of units, and the international distribution of raw materials.
In 1999, he joined the Dutch market leader in energy supply. There he was responsible for distribution within Germany and various Mergers & Acquisitions projects.

His experience helped him understand the need, from a client’s perspective, for qualified personnel and the value and potential of high quality personnel services.
This led him to found, in 2005, Wiesmann Personalisten.
Interests and hobbies
Thomas likes to scout for talent (playing the trumpet, tennis, and table tennis) and enjoys research (i.e. reading newspapers).
